Arsenal have completed the signing of 18-year-old defender Jaden Dixon from Championship side Stoke City. The versatile young defender joined Stoke City from Tottenham Hotspur in summer 2023 and signed his first professional contract in May 2024.

The teenager can play both as a centre-back as well as a right-back. Dixon has played 49 times for Stoke City's under-18 and under-21 teams, and has also made six appearances for the Potters’ first team. His senior debut came in Stoke's 2-0 Carabao Cup victory over Carlisle United in August 2024.

This season, the defender has featured seven times in Premier League 2 and has been included in Stoke's senior matchday squads on five occasions, serving as an unused substitute in four Championship matches and one League Cup fixture.

Dixon has represented England at youth level, earning caps for the Three Lions at under-17, under-18, and under-19 levels. The London-born defender is also eligible to play for Jamaica internationally.

The signing aligns with Arsenal's strategy to strengthen our academy with emerging talents who can develop into first-team prospects. The coaches believe Dixon will immediately strengthen our academy squads and can make his way to the first team in the future.
